Vancouver Art Gallery...

I went to Vancouver Art Gallery with my relatives last week. It was fun! We saw art by Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Renoir, and so much more. It makes me want to draw like that, but I've only been drawing for, like, 3/4 years.

Some art words u should know:

Impressionist: a period of time when Van Gogh was around, when artists began using vivd colours in drawings

pointillism: a style of art that uses little dots of different colours combined to create one piece of art

Too bad that the art gallery closed a few days ago-the workers demanded more income. My post was a bit late for if you wanted to go. Anyways, I hope you can find more by surfing the internet.



I liked it there because first of all, it told you about the history of masterpeices and their artists. Second of all, you could learn from the art there. Many great skills were portrayed. And lastly, I loved the souvenirs(not important, but I wanted to mention it).

Bug Candy???

Bug Candy-the lollipops and the little box with butterfly candy- is fruit-flavoured candy containing real (dead, and by the way this is not zombie candy) bugs. There are also Bug Snacks, the two things in the middle (Larvets and Crickettes). Flavoured with the creamy/cheesy taste most like. Here's what's good about 'em:

They're absolutely scrumptious with a crunchy side added on the bugs. It's not even bug-like, only crispy and nut-like!

If you dislike the insects, there's always the delicious candy!

They do lots of good on the body. However yucky the thought is of eating a bug, you have to admit that it's healthy and yummy once you're used to it.

Sanrio

Sanrio is a whole bunch of people creating wonderful, cute, and fun creatures. Surely you've all heard of the famous Hello Kitty? Sanrio is also the group all the cute critters created belong to. Aww... look above at the cute Sanrio puppies- they are mentioned below- and imagine what other wonderful stuff there is?Here are some things I really like about Sanrio:

I love Cinnamoroll! Cinnamoroll is 6 cute little big-eared pups. Aww...see picture

I love all the stuff they manufacture using the little critters (not only Cinnamorolls, but more cute stuff!)

I LOOOVEE the different colour patterns and clothing/backgrounds they work with. Each creature and their friends have personalities and hobbies shown without words on their icons.

I love the site! Except I wish there were more games.

I think you like Sanrio too, right? I hope you've seen Hello Kitty, Chococat, and Cinnamoroll, my favourite creatures of all time. If you haven't, why don't you see what you can find using Google?
